The CQ Shop was setup shortly after Plymouth’s local shops stopped selling radio communications equipment. Originally in the beginning the idea was to have a market stall inside Plymouth Pannier Market, but before we had a chance to begin – The World was suddenly under lockdown because of the Covid 19 pandemic.
So we opened this online store and have never really looked back, I say we, it was with the support from Chris M MM8UTZ. I too am a licenced radio amateur (Ham), my callsign is ME3UHQ.
We are are online store, we have no physical shop, but if you’re in the area I can easily arrange to meet you either here in Saltash or across the Tamar Bridge – Plymouth area. Need it sooner rather than later? I do offer a same day delivery option on most items, I recently purchased myself an e-bike and can easily travel anywhere within 5 miles of PL12 day or night, if you’re arriving by the sea, I can easily meet with yourselves down at Saltash waterfront. – Additionally I offer a drone / photography option so if you’d like a video or similar of your boat heading towards Saltash or under the Tamar Bridges, please let me know.
